VERY FINE UP TO 400 KPSI ANTIQUE ORIENTAL CARPET RARE APPROX. SIZE : 7' 8" x 14' 3" A REAL BEAUTY.

This antique rug has a very fine weave as seen in the closeups. The wool is very soft and rich. Not a thick rug at all. The rug is an unusual gallery size. Shows traffic patterns of wear and is far from perfect. From the early 1900's. The rug shows no signs of repairs and the body of the rug is all there with some uneven tied fringes. There are areas of wear to the foundation and there is selvage losses as well. The wear seems to be in consistent traffic patterns.

On the border (where we are pointing to) shows the worst wear and appears to be stained in that spot. Rug is very, very finely woven between 275-325 knots per inch. Which is pretty fine for this size rug.

A pleasing design and folds up nicely. Was professionally cleaned 1.5 years ago. Help yourself to rug that should last another 50 years or so. This rug does show areas of wear and use.

Will not lower the price. The rug is antique and far from perfect. Size will vary a little as the rug is slightly crooked. (approx 7' 8" x 14' 3"). Check out our 3500 sq.
