Antonio Pineda Vintage Mexican Silver & Amethyst Necklace 970 Silver Rare

A breathtaking, very beautiful Vintage Mexican Silver Necklace designed and crafted by Antonio Pineda in his favored 970 grade silver. The necklace has boomerang shaped thick silver links with deep purple cabochon tear-drop shaped stones and it measures 16 1/2" long by 7/8" and is quite heavy at 81.7 grams. Hallmarked with the Antonio Taxco Crown mark along with "Hecho en Mexico, 970, Silver" and the eagle 17. It is in good vintage condition with no signs of damage or repair only light age related wear and some minor tarnish. The stones are a lovely deep purple with the typical inclusions and they are secure in their settings. A true masterpiece by one of the most important of the Mexican Silver Masters and a heirloom quality treasure.
