Beautiful collection of old & rare 18th c. Prayerbooks in fine bindings & silver

  
1 Old Dutch Statenbijbel, printed in Amsterdam & Haarlem, 1809. Shagreen leather binding over wooden covers with two silver claps and catches, catches with the four evangelists, clasps w. Shagreen on wooden covers, a. Enschedé en zonen, 1809, 4 parts in 1 vol. 15 x 9 x 8 cm - Slightly cut short, no loss of text. Clasps and catches polished, but can be polished better..

Lower spine misses a piece. 2 Prayer book in Hebrew, 18th century - clasp in forged brass, stylized leaf motif, clamp arm with double hook.

Mutineers and attachment fixed with 3 nails - black leather binding with gold-stamped spine - text in Hebrew - 19 x 12 x 7 cm - probably printed in Amsterdam, 18th century or older. In good and neat condition.

Some pages restored with paper strips, sometimes with some text loss. May be missing, otherwise complete. 3 Beautiful Old & rare Dutch Bible / Book of Psalms in beautiful gilt red Morocco binding , 1797.

Binding, both covers with gilt round tooled central ornament, surrounded by a gilt tooled border, gilt fillet border and gilt dotted border, gilt spine w. 4 raised bands, 2 simple silver clasps and chased catches, gilt boardedges, a.

Covers rubbed; gilt a bit worn, mostly on spine and boardedges, binding still good and firm = Engr. Date "1834" in upper clasp and engr.

Allart, 1797, (1), 420 lvs. VINKELES and 12 plates by the same after J. BOUND WITH: Het Nieuwe Testament... Idem, 1797, (2), 132 lvs. AND WITH: Het boek der psalmen... Idem, 1797, 167, (2)lvs.

Good impression of the plates. Silver clasp and catch and 4 cornerpieces, decorated with floral motifs, and with engr.

On verso of clasps, 8vo. ON: Christelyke onderwyzingen en gebeden... Meyer, 1772, (12), 643, (5)p. 15 x 9 x 4 cm.
