Text in Hebrew with introductory material, commentary and marginal notes in Latin. Bound in 20th century brown calf (old style), 4 raised bands and red leather label, titled in gilt, to spine. Frontispiece showing King David (or Solomon) and others receiving blessings from above. With two engraved headpieces at preface and Isaiah, and a few decorative endpieces elsewhere. Title page in red and black. Faint scratch to leather on spine, former owner's old gift inscription, light edge wear to some pages. Some light spotting/foxing to some pages. Otherwise a wonderfully preserved copy in near fine condition. Michaelis based his edition on Jablonski's 1699 version, but with the added scholarly notes produced through comparison of nineteen printed editions and five manuscripts.
