A rare and original finely hand-tinted daguerreotype photograph, cased, of a distinguished Victorian gentleman, half-length, c1845-50. In good condition, though the top and bottom of case have separated at hinge. Size: (daguerreotype) ninth plate - 2.5in x 2in / (case) - 2.9in x 2.4in.
