FINE RARE ANTIQUE PEWTER BROAD RIM. CHARGER DISH PLATE BOWL c1660. This fine broad rim charger dates to c1660. To the front of the charger there is an ownership triad to the rim of S over E and A.

And a set of detrited hallmarks. There is also a previously unidentified makers touchmark of SB in a beaded circle to the reverse. Diameter : 14 ¾ inches (37.5 cms).

Width of Rim : 3 ¼ inches (8.2 cms). The charger is in very good condition with original surface patina and no hint of any surface flaking. It exhibits general wear commensurate with age (see images).

But no splits, holes or repairs, and would make a great display piece. Please take a look at my other pewter items for sale.
