An absolutely beautiful antique Georgian foiled back paste collar necklace. A brilliant and sparkling amethyst and diamond paste riviere necklace with dazzling cushion cut stones. The smaller diamond pastes are mounted in silver, the larger amethyst pastes are mounted in a golden gilt metal. Joined by 9ct gold jump rings and fitted with an amethyst paste push clasp. A rare and beautiful piece, with the contrasting foiled pastes adding texture and extra twinkle to the piece.

Lovely vintage condition, some light marks to the backs of the stones, one in particular has a long ding/ crease in the backing. Measures approximately 39.5cm, stones 11mm and 6mm diameter.
