A fantastic pair of Margot de Taxco Mexican Silver Earrings in the shape of a Swimming Fish created in ornate sterling silver repousse, each accented by a round Amethyst cabochon stone. Very detailed and beautifully crafted, they measure1 7/8" long by 3/4" wide and together they weigh 15.6 grams. Hallmarked on one earring "Margot de Taxco, 5207" and "Sterling Made in Mexico" with the eagle 16. They are in good vintage condition with only light signs of wear and minor tarnish.
The screw backs are in good working order. An exceptional pair of heirloom quality earrings, hard to find and quite rare, and a great addition to any Mexican Silver lovers collection.
