Napoleon & Wellington At Waterloo Watercolor Fine Drawing Rare Frame Unsigned

  
A For those of you wishing a truly Rare and Beautiful Historical Water Color of Napoleon and Wellington By an Important Artist and Housed in a Super Rare Frame who's Gilt decoration was not done in Gilt Wood but in Bronze or Brass. Yes around the Drawings perimeter are embossed ears of Corn and in the top corners a fabulous pair of what looks like extra Fancy Epaulets in Bronze or Brass really Beautiful & really Rare and quite Expensive Watercolor of Napoleon and Wellington in Battle at Waterloo. Let me start by telling you there is a water stain throughout the Sky but that I will have that stain disappear or restored by my Paper Conservator who is like a Magician. He is the best paper conservator I have ever seen or met The drawing has Vivid colors and looks like 100s of Men on Horseback it's Dimensions are 24" x 34" and framed 37 3/8" x 47 1/2". By the way The Eastlake Frame again is Fantastic and terribly Rare. We have all seen these types of Eastlake frames but have any dealers or Privates found the gilding in these Frame made of Bronze..

This Frame has Bronze or Brass and not Gilt wood as decoration, and the decor are Ears of Corn. This Frame was a quite expensive Frame having a Gold Border of embossed Corn Cobs and in each corner on the right side and the Left side what appears to be Epaulets Heavy Gold Eastlake Design please take your time with the pictures. You can see Napoleon is cut or bleeding on his head and there is a line of Napoleons Blood on his Horses Neck.

THIS IS A Really great Drawing save for the Moisture Stain in the Sky which will be no more. I will pay to get this Fabulous drawing restored for the new owner and then what comes out from a 6500.00 Watercolor will be a Painting fit for any Museum or Fine assemblage of Historical Paintings or drawings for anyones Estate collection. Everything I sell is used, and often is quite old. In many of the cases there. Will be damage of some kind, and usually some form of restoration and repair.
