Many more coming soon - thanks for stopping by! One of a Kind Unique conversation piece in this antique ring that can be disassembled to wear as a necklace! This is an old antique Art Nouveau stick pin in 14k gold with beautiful engravings around the oval outline, a stem tendril and a lovely green enamel clover in the center set with a pearl. When the stick pin was converted to a ring, the goldsmith fabricated it so that the shoulders of the shank latch on to the large oval ring face. If you squeeze the two sides of the shank lightly, they can be unhooked from the ring face so that you can wear the oval piece with the clover on a chain by running your chain through the vacant space.

I acquired this piece in Europe - very talented goldsmith who was able to create the shank with tension to allow it to latch on so securely and snugly, and yet the shank is still perfectly round even though it is able to be squeezed to remove. The inside of the shank is stamped 14k. On the outside of the shank it appears like a double band connected around the back to the split shank shoulders.

The oval ring face is large - 23mm by 10mm. All my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. It is of course a delicate piece but it feels pretty sturdy considering that the Shank is meant to be squeezed to release the ring face.

Enamel has held up beautifully, it has very little wear. But as with all these antique pieces, please handle with care and use a gentle hand when assembling and disassembling.
