Rare Antique Art Deco Gold & Solid Silver Paste Swinging Trapeze Monkey Brooch A gorgeous antique art deco gold and solid silver brooch in novelty monkey trapeze design, their is a monkey sat on the bar brooch part and one which hangs from this bar and swings. Both are set with paste stones, the swinging one back and front. They have small ruby coloured pastes stones in their eyes.

No marks but most likely made in Pforzheim, Germany - most quality paste jewellery was produced there. A very pretty original piece, not easy to find. It will come packaged in a brooch gift box.

Unmarked but tested as Gold & Solid Silver; Guaranteed by us to be solid silver Weight: Approx 7.8g Measurements: Top part 1 3/8" long x just over 3/4" wide 35 x 20mm. Swinging monkey hangs 2 1/4 56mm. Swinging monkey 1" long x 1/2" wide 25 x 13mm. Condition: The paste stones have aged in places, none are missing. Good Used Condition, some general wear and patina consistent with age.
