RARE & FINE GEORGIAN ANTIQUE WIGAN PEWTER. ½ PINT BALUSTER MEASURE TANKARD C18TH. The rare measure comes from Wigan and dates to the latter part of the C18th. It has the capacity of ½ pint old English Wine Standard (OEWS).

Early Wigan measures are very scarce. The measure is in very good condition with general wear commensurate with age (see images). And would make a great display piece.
