The pierced lid has an old label reading "Made in China". I date the two pieces at late Qing (1880 - 1911) or very early Republic (1912 - 1949). The graceful brown stand is square shaped with the feet turning under on the four ends. The display area is raised in the center. There is an old label reading "Made in China" on the bottom of the stand.
I would date to stand to the first half of the 20th century. The stand displays the ginger jar beautifully and matches the old lid in color quite well. Overall, the jar is in excellent antique condition with expected wear. There could be very minor surface scratches or slight enamel loss on the porcelain. Characteristics of old porcelain may be present such as tiny pits. There are no cracks, chips, hairlines, repairs or other damage to the jar that I can find. The stunning carved open work lid is in excellent condition with age appropriate wear.
There could be minor surface scratches and variation in the stain. There no cracks, chips, repairs, missing parts or damage that I see. The lid fits perfectly on the ginger jar and adds a look of elegance. The old wood stand is in excellent condition with age appropriate wear. There could be minor surface scratches and rubs. There are no chips, cracks, repairs or damage that I can find. Width across at widest point: 5. Opening at top: 2 1/4. Signed: "Made in China" & Era marking.
Marked: Old "Made in China" label. Height of stand: 1 3/8. Marked: "Made in China" label.
