Rare Vintage Art Deco Rhodium Compact Locket Long Sterling Silver Chain Necklace

I have more great jewelry for sale, so check out my other items if you're interested. This is a gorgeous true Art Deco era compact that features an engraved lady with a bonnet & parasol. The engraving is not sharp, this was likely a favorite & so has been dulled down after about 100 years of wear! The chain is about 25 long in total, & the filigree finding that attaches it to the compact is marked STERLING. I think the compact is rhodium, as it's unmarked.

It's about 1 -3/4" long NOT counting the top loop, & about 1 -7/16" across. The interior has it's original puff & a mirrored finish inner back.

Other than the wear, it's in good vintage condition with no damage I can detect. Just a rare & lovely piece!
