These ornate link chains were all hand crafted in Times Gone by.. And it has interwoven beaded links to form the bookchain.. The links arent flat but like little books or tomes..

Any dark areas are reflection only. This is Circa 1850 -1880 and prior to 1907 gold was not required to be stamped or hallmarked. Common with these pieces The outer surface tests positive for 15ct rose gold. Almost looking like a little sputnik. Common in these times, was high fashion long ago. The ornate chain measures 6mm across the three raised orb links along the chain the rest is app 5mm wide and the chain is three dimensional in true bookchaun style. The fob ball drop measures 1.3cm or app 1/2" from top, of bale by 1cm or 3/8" wide and is figural and round. No loose or missing links..
