It was used to promote the film in theatres when it was released by. It is not a reprint nor a reproduction. The movie stars Warren Hull, Mary Ainslee, Dave O'Brien, Joseph W. Girard, Kenne Duncan, Anthony Warde, Bryant Washburn, and Harry Harvey. It was directed by James W.

The movie poster is Rolled and linen backed, and measures 27" x 41". After the poster was linen backed, it now measures 28.5" x 42.25".

Originally this poster was Folded. Almost all original movie posters pre 1985 are Folded.

This is not considered a flaw or defect. This Restored movie poster is graded C8.5, or Very Fine to Near Mint. This grade is generally the highest grade a restored original movie poster can receive. Original movie posters are graded, from the top down, as C10 (Mint), C9 (Near Mint), C8 (Very Fine), C7 (Very Good to Very Fine), C6 (Very Good), C5 (Good to Very Good), etc. It is difficult to find any C10 (Mint) original movie posers pre 1985.

Originally, prior to restoration the poster was graded at a C6.5, Fine Plus. It is also standard practice to disclose the original grade of any original movie poster that has been restored and is on the market for sale. The restoration was highly successful, particularly focusing on some brittleness of the paper, tears and separation at the folds. That said, the incredibly rich and vibrant colors you see now in the poster were there prior to restoration. This original poster is ready for framing and display immediately. The very minor flaws noted above are generally not visible unless one does a very close inspection of the poster, as I have done. There is little doubt that the poster, once properly framed and displayed, will make a truly magnificent, striking, and memorable addition to any original movie poster collection. It was Columbia's sequel to their 1938. Briefly, the plot is that amateur criminologist Richard Wentworth, formerly the masked vigilante, The Spider, brings his former alter ego out of retirement for 15 action-packed chapters to help his old friend, police commissioner Kirk (Kirkpatrick in the pulp novels), battle a dangerous, power-obsessed maniac called.
