Offered here is 4 volumes of an original 5 volume set. The Works of Thomas Grey. Volumes 1,2,3 and 5.

Published in London by William Pickering. Volume I published in 1847. Volume III in 1835 and Volume V in 1843. All have the armorial bookplate of Gordon Dexter. The Dexters were a prominent Boston family. Condition : 3/4 leather over marbled boards with matching marbled endpapers and page edges. Note that the two title blocks on each spine are either chipping or completely missing. 5 raised bands on spine. Top edge of spine of Volume III is cracking. The text blocks of all are clean, whole and tight.
