Very Rare Original King Charles Period Stuart Crystal Slider. A stunning true early King Charles era slider. 18 - 20 carat yellow gold example with Stuart crystal front covering fine hair with crown and letters RC.

The mystique of the crystals is embedded in the history of the jewels that were made to commemorate the execution of King Charles 1 under Cromwell's power. The crystals were made to memorialize the martyred Charles, who was of the house of Stuart. Populace wore rings, cufflinks, earrings and slides in sympathy of King Charles.
